CASTALIA, NC-- Cleavon Bunnie Leonard, 90, of Castalia, died Thursday, July 7, 2022 at his home.

Born July 25, 1931, Bunnie was the son of the late, Charlie and May H. Leonard. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Curtis Best, Judith Leonard and Edith Aycock.

A graveside service was held 2 p.m., Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Leonard Family Cemetery at the family home, 464 T. Model Jones Road, Castalia. The family received friends immediately following the service.

Bunnie is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Nancy S. Leonard; daughters and son-in-law, Amanda L. and Michael Holmes; Leslie Leonard; one cousin; and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
