Joseph "Joe" Bullock

FRANKLINTON, NC--Joseph "Joe" Bullock of Franklinton, NC, age 80, died December 26, 2023 at Wake Med Health and Hospitals, Raleigh, NC.

Born October 19, 1943 in Vance County, NC, he son of the late James Bullock and the late Rosa Mae Pender.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 52 years, Alice Faye Bullock, two sons, Antonio T. Bullock and Ricky Teasley, two sisters, Geraldine Dunston and Francis Bullock, and two brothers, Robert and John Henry Bullock.

Survivors: his children, Joe Teasley (Lucinda) of Youngsville, NC, Lori Britton (Anthony) of Durham, NC, Alfred Spivey (Sharron) of Franklinton, NC, and Joseph Spivey (Christine) of Spring Hope, NC; two sisters, Barbara Walker and Betty Fowler; one brother, James Bullock of Franklinton, NC; five step-sisters; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Service was Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Pope's Chapel UCC of Franklinton, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Leroy Dukes, pastor, and Rev. Jeanette Pender-Powell, Presiding. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
