JOHN EARL PERRY SR.

CREEDMOOR, NC -- John Earl Perry Sr., of Creedmoor, age 83, died July 9, 2024. John was born on July 4, 1941, to the late Leroy and Carrie Perry in Franklinton, NC.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Perry; two sons, James and Lamont Perry; seven brothers, Melvin, Charlie, Frank, Jimmy, Edward, Lonnie and Berlie; two great-grandchildren; Jayden Johnson and Jalaya Cox.

Survivors include five daughters, Betty Perry of the home, Laverne Allen and Beatrice Perry (Jasper) both of Durham, NC, Freida Bullock of Raleigh, NC, and Sandra Robinson (Jermaine) of Oxford, NC; one son, John Earl Perry, Jr. of Mebane, NC; one sister, Carolyn Burrell of Franklinton, NC; two brothers, Sammy Perry of Franklinton, NC and Robert Perry of Zebulon, NC; one brother-in-law; six sisters-in-law, eighteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial services are set for Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Union Chapel Baptist Church, Butner, NC with Bishop Stephen D. Wilson, pastor officiating. Cremation Service is entrusted to City of Oaks Cremation Service, Raleigh, NC.
