December 17, 1947 - October 4, 2024

LAS VEGAS, NV--Tad Heding Krauss passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 76 in Las Vegas, NV. Born on December 17, 1947 in San Francisco, CA, Tad dedicated his life to the pursuit and teaching of mathematics, a passion that defined both his career and personal fulfillment.

Tad was renowned not just as an educator but also for his profound love for dogs, a trait that endeared him to all who knew him. His commitment to his students and his pets illustrated a life lived with compassion and dedication.

He is survived by nieces Corey Nelson, Cathy Westrope, Collette Armstrong and Vikki Savo; nephews Doug Hall and David Hall. Tad was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Catherine Krauss, father, Stanley Carl Krauss and sister Julianne Marie Hall.

Tad's legacy will live on not only through his family and the many students he inspired but also through the kindness shown to animals in his memory.
