Whitakers, NC -- Funeral services for Charlie Lewis Mills Sr., age 81, who died on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, were held 2 p.m., Friday, January 24, from the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Hollister with Pastor Al Cooper officiating. Burial followed in the Trinity Church Cemetery.

Born August 17, 1943, he is survived by his wife Velma Davis Mills of the home; three daughters, Theresa Mills of Nashville, NC, Cynthia Johnson (Eugene) of Enfield, NC, Stacy Mills Arrington of Whitakers, NC; two sons, Charlie Mills, Jr. (Beth) of Wilson, NC, Joshua Mills of Whitakers, NC; one sister, Lorina Boone (William); and two brothers, Melvin Mills (Shirley) and Ricky Mills (Maggie), all of Whitakers, NC; 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family received friends Thursday from 7 until 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
