HENDERSON, NC -- Edward Allen Newton, 54, of Henderson (Epsom community), died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his home. He was born on June 5, 1970, to Mr. Robert "Bobby" and Theresa Newton in Vance County.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: his brothers, Tony Newton (Jennifer) and Earl Smith; an uncle and aunt; a nephew and nieces; and extended family members and friends.

The family will receive visitors and friends on Thursday, January 30, from 1 -2 p.m. at Liberty Christian Church, 7818 NC-39, Henderson.

Funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 2 p.m. at the church. Interment will be held at New Bethel Cemetery following the funeral service.
