FRANKLINTON, NC -- Hazel Tart Thomas, 88, died February 11, 2025 at her home in Franklinton, with her family by her side.
Hazel was born on April 20, 1936 to the late Sam and Beulah Currin Tart. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Thomas; and her siblings, Bill Tart, Brenda Swonke, and Grady Tart.
Hazel is survived by her daughters, Contz Thomas, Cindy Denny and Darlene Tart (Donnie); and a granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, February 14, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with Reverend Carl Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
