Christopher William Ellis
September 14, 1973 -February 1, 2025

LOUISBURG, NC -- Christopher William Ellis, age 51, of Louisburg, NC, died February 1, 2025. Chris was the son of the late William Earl Ellis and Jean Wester Ellis.

Chris is survived by his uncle, Bobby Earl Wester of Jacksonville, FL; cousins: Leslie Wester Schutze (Chris) (Dylan, Haley, Bella/Isabella) of Bristow, VA; Tonya Wester Thomason (Graysen, Colten) of Virginia Beach, VA; Michele Taylor Braxton (Scott) of Asheboro, NC; Michael Todd Taylor (Karyn) of Cincinnati, OH; and Milton Ellis, Jr. (Melanie) of Chase City, VA.

Chris was a graduate of Bunn High School. Chris worked for Truist Bank as a systems analyst.

Chris had a loving and generous heart. He will be remembered for his ability to make us laugh when we needed it most as well as anticipate the needs of those he cared for, many times before the need was even realized. One way this was best demonstrated by Chris, was how he devoted himself to caring for his mother, Jean, after the premature passing of his father, William.

Chris enjoyed art, cooking, gaming, music, movies and traveling when he could. Two of his favorite destinations were Topsail Island, NC & New Orleans, Louisiana. He was most happy when surrounded by friends and family, sharing a great meal and enjoying one another's company. Chris had the beautiful gift of being able to meet & accept people where they were with compassion and empathy. Once he called you friend, you knew from that moment on, you would never have to face any situation alone. Chris is a treasured soul who is loved very much and will be missed by many.

Lancaster Funeral Home, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg, NC 27549 was used for the end-of-life procedures. A Celebration of Life Bonfire will be held by the family at a later date, to be announced.
