Seat Pleasant, MD -- Funeral services for Minnie Ruth Strickland Wiggins, age 78, of Seat Pleasant, MD, formerly of Louisburg, NC, who died on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, were held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 1 p.m. from the Nelson Chapel Baptist Church in Louisburg with Elder Harvey L. Rice officiating. Burial followed in the Nelson Chapel Church Cemetery.
Born Feb. 6, 1947, Minnie is the daughter of the late Joseph Lynwood and Mirenia Massenburg Strickland.
She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Wiggins, Sr. of the home; one son, Johnnie Wiggins, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; and two sisters, Barbara Humphrey (Dwight) of Washington, DC and Elizabeth Keith (James) of Louisburg, NC.
The family received friends Tuesday from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
