TOMMY T. THOMPSON

CASTALIA, NC -- Tommy Theodore Thompson, 77, of Castalia, died Wednesday evening, April 2, 2025 at his home.

Born December 8, 1947, Tommy was a son of the late J.E. and Catherine D. Thompson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Moquin; brothers, Ray Thompson, Jimmy Thompson and Wayne Thompson.

The family received friends 2 - 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5, funeral service followed at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Doris Thompson; sons, Doyle (Kathy) Thompson; Shane Thompson; step-sons, Ben (Amanda) James; Kevin James; sisters, Tina Hockaday; Patsy (Wayne) Churchill; brothers, Charles (Mary) Thompson; Gary (Debbie) Thompson; Ernest (Christine) Thompson; Bobby Thompson; brother-in-law, Walter Moquin; six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
