LOUISBURG, NC--Judy Young Johnson Strickland, 76, of Louisburg, died Wednesday evening, August 28, 2024.

Born October 26, 1947, Judy was the daughter of the late Dykes and Estelle Horton Young. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Strickland.

Judy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Kelli Johnson; Brad and Katie Johnson; stepson and daughter-in-law, Ed and Jo Ann Strickland; step-daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Mike Cossin; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Marie Young; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 10 - 11 a.m., Saturday, August 31, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. at Hill King United Methodist Church.
