KITTRELL, NC--James Edison Foster, 87, of Walter Grissom Road passed away on June 1,2022. He was born in Franklin County to the late David Foster and Eltenner Perry Foster.

A service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Concord Baptist Church in Kittrell. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A viewing will be from 1 - 4 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2022, at the funeral home. A wake will take place after the viewing from 5 - 6 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Velma Kearney Foster, his children, Angela Roberts and Rev. Yolanda Washington. his grandchildren, Dr. Ariel Washington and Alisha Washington-Hutton (Brandon); his brother, Lawrence W. Foster and a host of other relatives.
