FRANKLINTON - Karen Walters Dale, 52, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009. A memorial service, followed by family visitation, was conducted Monday, March 9, at Bright Funeral Home and Cremation, Wake Forest.
Surviving: daughter, Laura Whitney Dale of Franklinton; son, Pvt. Joshua S. Dale of Schoefield Barracks, HI; mother, Laura N. Walters of Wake Forest; sister, Julia W. Takacs (Larry) of Youngsville; brother, J. E. Walters Jr. (Betty) of Smithfield.
Flowers appreciated or memorial donations may be made to the National Guard’s Tarheel Challenge Academy. Donations should be made out to Tarheel Challenge Inc., P. O. Box 39, Salemburg, NC 28385.
