DOROTHY T. SELEY
ZEBULON - Dorothy Turner Seley, 82, died Monday, June 22, 2009 at Guardian Care. Funeral services were conducted Friday, June 26, at Tippett’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Clayton, with Dr. Eddie Moody officiating. Entombment followed at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Clayton.

She was born in Johnston County to the late William Gaston Turner and Ida O’Neal Turner. She retired with 20 years of service with North Carolina Government.

Surviving: husband, John Pullen Seley; son, the Rev. Dale (Mary Susan) Seley of Alexandria, Va.; daughters, June S. (Ron) Ferrell of Raleigh, LuAnn (Ed) Wooters of Wendell;  and five grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Angus Turner and Rudolph Turner; sisters, Pauline Turner, Betty Lou Dawson and Myrtie Lee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tippett’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 2530 Shotwell Road, Clayton, NC 27520.
