MAX P. HAITHCOCK
RALEIGH - Max Pender Haithcock, 75, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 at Rex Hospital. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Maple Springs Baptist Church, Louisburg.

He was born in Burlington, the son of the late Thomas Vernon and Lillian Pender Haithcock. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and was employed by Stalls Medical Supply. He and his wife were 1953 graduates of Franklinton High School.

Surviving: wife, Gray Smith Haithcock of the home; daughter, Cossie Lee Haithcock of Louisburg; and a brother, Earl G. Haithcock of Raleigh.

He was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Lee Haithcock.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Carolina Vietnam  Veterans, Inc., c/o Bill Dixon, P. O. Box 20872, Raleigh, NC 27619-0872.
