MICHAEL J. AYCOCK
December 24, 1958 – January 3, 2010
LOUISBURG – Michael Jay Aycock, 51, of Louisburg, passed away Sunday morning.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Aycock. He was owner and operator of Strickland Muffler Shop and was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating, NASCAR, baseball and riding his motorcycle.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Joel Story and Rev. Wes Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Aycock Family Cemetery.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Eva L. Aycock; sons, Daniel Aycock and Anthony Aycock; mother, Doris M. Aycock; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Linda Aycock, all of Louisburg; several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 60, Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family received friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg and other times at the home.
