RALEIGH - Jean Eury, 71, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010 at her home. Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 1, in the Montlawn Funeral Home chapel.
She retired with more than 25 years of service to the N.C. General Assembly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Eury; parents, Horace and Zella Williams; and brothers, Bill and Dexter.
Surviving: sons, Chuck Eury (Patricia) of Franklinton, Gary Eury (Sarah) of San Antonio, Tex.; daughters, Debra E. Houston Tapp (Bill) of Raleigh, Tina Likens (Andy) of Clayton, Michelle Peele (Chris) of Raleigh; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
