MAXINE R. CHAMPION
ZEBULON - Maxine Richardson Champion, 58, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010. Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 5, at Elevation Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial was in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

Surviving: children, FD Champion of Raleigh, James Champion and Derrick Champion of Brooklyn, N.Y., Tracie C. Leary of Washington State, Natasha C. Mitchell of Fayetteville;  sisters, Vivian McCullers of Zebulon, Ernestine Bridges and Dianne Williamson of Wendell, Shirley Grant of Tampa, Fla., and Meshelder Richardson of Middlesex; brothers, Gregory Richardson of West Columbia, S.C., and Kenneth Richardson of Wendell; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
