EDWARD F. JENKINS
LOUISBURG - Edward Franklin Jenkins, 76, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at his home. Memorial services were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Poplar Spring Baptist Church, Zebulon.

He was born in Hillsborough to the late Clyde Jenkins and Elise Keck Jenkins. He retired with 34 years of service as a computer systems analyst with the State of North Carolina Office of Information Technology Services.

Surviving: wife, Linda Spaugh Jenkins; twin sons, Stephen Edward Jenkins (Lisa) of Sanford and Stanley Franklin Jenkins (Pamela) of Wake Forest; sister, Jackie J. Webster of Winston-Salem; and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, Attn: Accounting, 3808 Tarheel Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609.
