GLORIA ANN MONROE-BATTS
FRANKLINTON - Gloria Ann Monroe-Batts, 49, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006 at her home in Germantown, Md. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Aug. 26, at Cutchins Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Franklinton, with the Rev. Jeanette Pender officiating. Inturnment and committal rites were held at Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Franklinton.

Born in Franklinton, she was the daughter of Silas Monroe and the late Margaret Pugh Monroe. She was employed with Allstate Insurance Company as an insurance adjuster in Germantown, Md.

Surviving: father, Silas Monroe of Franklinton; brothers, Silas Bernard Monroe of Germantown, Md., Leo Crudup of Franklinton, Dallas Crudup (Carolyn) of Youngsville, and Cleveland Spivey of Creedmoor; three nieces and one nephew; one great-niece and three great-nephews.
