LITTLETON - Elise Jenkins King, 82, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. A visitation will be held today (Wednesday, March 10) at Blaylock Funeral Home in Littleton from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Calvary United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mike Currin and the Rev. Stan Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born in Halifax County to the late Herbert Eugene Jenkins and Ida Cerry Perry Jenkins.

Surviving: husband, James W. King Sr. of the home; son, the Rev. James W. King Jr. of Littleton; sister, Carrie Mae Jenkins of Littleton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
