ZEBULON - James Leo Parrish Sr., 86, died Monday, April 5, 2010. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, April 10) at Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Baptist Tabernacle Church cemetery.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jean Dement.
Surviving: wife, Virginia Wells Parrish; sons, James Leo Parrish Jr. of Moncure, Robert Harold Parrish Sr. (Denise) of Wendell; daughters, Edna Faye Mullen (J.T.) of Willow Spring, and Nancy Lee Brantley (Greg) of Zebulon; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Virginia Parrish, 1137 Ridge Haven Dr., Wendell, NC 27591.
