THOMAS J. PENDERGRASS
WAKE FOREST —Thomas Jordan Pendergrass, 82, died Sunday afternoon, May 2, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services were Tuesday, May 4, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Al Thomas officiating. Burial followed in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

He was born in Warren County, son of the late Willie Frank Pendergrass and Bessie Grissom Pendergrass and was preceded in death by a son, George Thomas Pendergrass, and a sister and a brother.

 Surviving: wife, Erlene Knight Pendergrass; son, Donald Ray Pendergrass (Carla) of Youngsville; brothers, Willis Albert Pendergrass of Newport, Tenn., James Albert Pendergrass of Wilmington and Jack Pendergrass of Kernersville; sisters, Hester Robinson of Virginia, Mary Ann Kearney of Henderson; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Flowers accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
