THURSTON R. ALSTON
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Funeral services for Thurston Roosevelt Alston, 55, who died at Huntsville Hospital on Monday, Sept. 11, 2006, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville.

He was the son of the late Napoleon (Tom) and Vallie Mae Alston. Mr. Alston was a graduate of Bunn High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He served four years in the U.S. Army.

Surviving: sons, Reginald (Tameka) of Nashville, Tenn., and Anthony of Ghedi, Italy; sisters, Lisa, Cheryl and Glenda of Wake Forest, and Etta of Franklinton; brothers, Nathaniel, George and Alfred (Paulette) of Youngsville, Thomas (Trudy) of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
