DWIGHT T. DOP
INDIANOLA, Iowa - Dwight Dop, 56, died Saturday, June 19, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Services were held Tuesday, June 22, at the First Assembly of God Church in Indianola, with Pastor John Meaux and Pastor Guy Puthoff officiating.

He was born to Marvin VonDale and Doris (Cottrell) Dop in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a graduate of Indianola High School. He was a member of Destiny Bible Church and worked for Diamond Vogel Paint in Des Moines.

Surviving: wife, Diana of Indianola; daughter, Summer (Andy) Scott of Des Moines; son, Chad (Megan Dolph) Dop of Lacona, Iowa; mother, Doris Dop (former Doris Cottrell of Louisburg); brother, Dennis (Sandy Green) Dop; sister, Darlene Bradley, all of Indianola; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin VonDale Dop.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family in the deceased’s name for expenses associated with his premature death.
