LILA MAE Q. WHEELER
LOUISBURG - Lila Mae Qualls Wheeler, 79, of Louisburg died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Britthaven of Louisburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Earl Wheeler; her son, Robert Earl Wheeler; and her sister, Peggy Austin Reese.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Hickory Rock Baptist Church, with the Rev. Luke Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Allen (Jimmy Pierce) of Louisburg; her sons, Donald Wheeler (Janice) and John Wheeler (Chris Batten), all of Louisburg; her sisters, Donnie Qualls Denton of Rocky Mount and Mary Qualls Crump of Deltaville, VA; her brother, Bobby Wayne Qualls of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Brad Thompson (Stacy) of Louisburg, Patrick Allen of Louisburg, Jennifer Mullins (Jon) of Elizabeth City, Tony Wheeler of Clearwater, FL; her great-grandchildren, Joseph and Jessica Mullins of Elizabeth City.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC  27607.

The family will receive friends at all times at the home of Judy Allen and Jimmy Pierce, 2064 NC Hwy 561, Louisburg.
