BERTHA H. WOODBY
GOOSE CREEK, SC - Bertha Hall Woodby, 89, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, in a North Charleston hospital. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Sept.  21, at 2 p.m. at the Woodby family cemetery. 

She was born in Swain County, NC, a daughter of John Wesley Hall and Margaret Melinda Jenkins Hall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Woodby; her daughter, Janice Woodby; and her son, John Wesley Woodby. 

Surviving: three daughters, Melinda Susan Moore of Goose Creek, SC, Judy Abouremeleh of San Leandro, Calif., and Avis Woodby of East Boston, Mass.; five sons, Roy E. Woodby of Goose Creek, S.C., Roger Woodby and Timothy Woodby, both of Wagener, SC, Wayne Woodby of San Leandro, Calif., and Joseph Woodby of Fairfield, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Bouelvard, Louisburg.
