MARGARET H. JONES
MARSHALLBERG -Margaret House Jones, 87, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 at Carteret General Hospital. A memorial service was held Thursday, Sept. 30, at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Doug Wagner and the Rev. Ellis Bedsworth officiating.

She was born in Louisburg to Walter Linwood and Emma Fuller House, and moved to Beaufort at an early age. She graduated from Beaufort High School and attended Flora McDonald College. She worked with the Boards of Education in Northampton and Carteret counties.

Surviving: son, Tommy Jones (Ginny) of Marshallberg; daughters, Nancy Piner (Greg) of Oriental, Karen Davis (Gary) of Marshallberg; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pelham Jones.

Arrangements by Munden Funeral Home, Morehead City.
