RILEY L. ALLEN SR.
ANGIER - Riley Lenward Allen Sr., 62, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 6) at Feggins & Feggins Funeral Chapel in Wake Forest, with the Rev. Junious M. Debnam officiating. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery in Wake Forest. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1 p.m. Wednesday at Feggins & Feggins.

He was born in Franklin County to the late Mazie Dunston Mitchell and Samuel Turner Glover. After graduation from Dubois High School in Wake Forest, he joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.

Surviving: sons, Riley Allen Jr. (Jodie) and Gary Wood (Antonetta), all of Aberdeen, Md.; brothers, Ronnie Glover of Hampton, Va., Edward Allen (Debbie) of Wake Forest and Darrell Allen (Annette); sisters, Gloria Grant of Durham, Carolyn J. Glover and Jacquelyn Daniel, both of Newport News, Va., Sandra R. Algee of Hampton, Va., Laura Allen and Mavis Allen, both of Wake Forest, Dianne Allen (Jerry) of Franklinton, Mattie Allen, Tracey Glover and Karen Lockley, all of Raleigh; and five grandchildren.
