RALEIGH - William Henry Shelton, 66, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 30, at Greater Pentecostal Church, Raleigh, with Minister James Rogers officiating. Interment was in the Hillard family cemetery, Garner.
He was born to the late Lela Shelton and Grover Snellings of Raleigh. He attended Ligon School and W. W. Holden Institute. He retired from Sabic Polymershapes Company.
Surviving: wife, Verna J. Bass Shelton; stepson, Gerald Bass (Crystal); daughter, Lottie Marie Shelton (Kevin); sons, Reggie Shelton (Vanessa), Ray Allen (Catina), and Michael Shelton (Sharon); and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
