A. CLIFTON PERDUE
May 25, 1938 – October 30, 2010
LOUISBURG - Clifton Perdue, 72, of Louisburg passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 30, 2010.

He is a son of the late Walter Thomas and Ida Stuart Parrish Perdue. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald R. Perdue.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Leonard Perdue; brother, Thomas and wife Peggy of Louisburg; sister, Judy Perdue of Raleigh, sister, Deborah Cassell and husband Robert of Raleigh, and sister-in-law Joyce of Wilmington; daughters, Donna Wood and husband Vincent of Louisburg, Pam Woodall and husband Howard of Raleigh, and Lisa McLamb and husband Tony of Youngsville; seven grandchildren, Casey Woodall White and husband Brian, Kelly Woodall, Kirstin Woodall, Wesley Wood, Josh McLamb, Cole McLamb, and Elaina Jernigan; one great-granddaughter, Lelah Michele White.

Visitation was Sunday, October 31, from 6:00 —8:00 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home in Louisburg.  Funeral service was Monday, November 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church.  Burial followed at Lancaster Memorial Gardens.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 4272 Hwy. 401 N., Louisburg, NC 27549 or the charity of your choice.
