OAKSIA B. TILSON
WAKE FOREST - Oaksia Bradley Tilson, 89, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2011 at Universal Healthcare. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, Jan. 15) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.

She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Gurrie Bradley and Nettie Medlin Bradley.

Surviving: children, Irene Wills of Raleigh, Judy Mitchell of Youngsville, Macon Parrott (Rita) of Greer, S.C., Alton Parrott (Sandi) of Franklinton, and Ted Tilson Jr. (Bea) of Fitzgerald, Ga.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Harvey Parrott and Teddi Tilson, and also a grandson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the building funds of Unity Baptist Church, 6348 NC 96 Hwy. West, Youngsville, NC  27596 or to Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church, 3329 Forestville Road, Raleigh, NC 27616.
