MARGARET T. RAY
ZEBULON - Margaret Perry Taylor Ray, 89, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Oct. 15, at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, Zebulon, with Dr. Greg Lawson and Dr. Randall Lolley officiating.

She was the youngest child of the late James Fredrick and Lula Mullen Perry. Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Taylor, the father of her son and daughter; brothers, Dr. Bruce Perry of Texas and Kenneth Perry of Pine Ridge. She was a lifetime member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church, where her father, Fred Perry, was one of the founding fathers.

Surviving: her husband, Odis Leron Ray; son, David Taylor (Anne) of Greenville, S.C.; daughter, Judy Taylor Childress of Raleigh; sisters, Ruby Perry Taylor of the Pine Ridge community and Marie Webb of South Carolina; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her stepsons of Bailey and their families.
Flowers welcomed or memorials may be made to Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 865 Pine Ridge Road, Zebulon, NC 27597.
