CARLTON D. SETZER
Mr. Carlton Douglas “Sly Fox” Setzer, age 48, a resident of 15 Windley Canal Road, Pantego, died Friday March 25, 2011 at his home. A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 31, 2011  at the Jefferson Family Cemetery, Ambrose Road in Pinetown conducted by Wayne Jocelyn and Kent Gurganus.

Mr. Setzer was born in Granville County, North Carolina on September 25, 1962, son of the late Clifford Setzer and Betty Railey Setzer. On July 1, 1994, Mr. Setzer married the former Rachel Elaine Jefferson, who survives. He worked as a long distance truck driver for several trucking companies. Mr. Setzer enjoyed gardening and working outdoors. He was a member of the Pinetown Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Setzer is survived by three children: Crystal Powell and husband Linwood of Louisburg, NC, Cliff Setzer of Louisburg, NC and Kaitlyn Setzer of the home, two grandchildren: Maggie and Clayton Powell of Louisburg, NC, and a brother Ben Setzer and wife Susan.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm at Paul Funeral Home and Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Henry and Brenda Jefferson, 426 Ambrose Road, Pinetown, NC.

Flowers are welcomed or memorials may be made to the Pinetown Church of Christ, 121 Long Ridge Road, Pinetown, NC 27865, or to the Pinetown Fire Department, 7262 N. Boyd Road, Pinetown, NC 27865.
