RALEIGH - Bella Rose Diaz (Aug. 17, 2010 - May 2, 2011) died suddenly in her sleep. Viewing was held Thursday, May 5, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, Knightdale, followed by the funeral at 6:30 p.m.
She was the daughter of Amy Daugherty Diaz and Michael Todd Diaz, fifth grade teacher at Bunn Elementary School. Surviving, in addition to her parents are: a sister, Madison Henry; grandparents, Melvin and Diana Diaz; great-grandparents, Delbert “Boots” and Lola Shenkle, Irene Daugherty; and a number of nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Debra Shenkle Daugherty and Carl Andrew Daugherty Sr.; great-grandparents, Edwin S. Daugherty, Harold Louis Diaz, Emily Clark, and William and Ada Mae Meyers.
