ZEBULON - Marie Beddingfield Horton, 86, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Funeral service was held Thursday, May 19, at Zebulon Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Horton family cemetery.
She was born to the late Ruth Batten and Needham Wyatt Beddingfield. She was a long-time member of Zebulon Baptist Church where she served as deaconess, Children’s Department Sunday School teacher, and a member of WMU.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyatt Horton.
Surviving: daughter, Deborah Horton of Raleigh; son, Tim Horton (Lisa); and three grandchildren.
