OTHA DON UPCHURCH
MILLERSVILLE, MD - Otha Don Upchurch, 71, of Millersville, MD, son of Otha and Annie Freeman Upchurch, stepson of Lottie Mae Upchurch, died from complications of cancer on May 21, 2011 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 17, 1940 in Pearces, NC and was raised in Zebulon, NC. A self-made man, he rose from humble beginnings to become a successful husband, father, grandfather, and businessman.

He is survived by 3 devoted children, Donald, Janine and Sherry, as well as 4 well loved grandchildren, Jason, Eric, Amanda and Jessica.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 25th, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Barranco & Sons, P.A., Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy,  Severna Park, MD 21146, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial service will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1041 Rt 3N, Building A, Gambrills, MD 21054.
