JAMES F. CASH JR.
YOUNGSVILLE - James F. Cash Jr., 86, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006 at Hillside Nursing Center. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 5, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Entombment followed in the Oak Level Christian church cemetery.

Mr. Cash was born in Granville County, the son of the late Nonie Critcher Cash and James F. Cash Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II, receiving a number of medals. He retired from Chappell Ford in Wake Forest as parts manager and from Tom Tog Manufacturing in Youngsville.

Surviving: his daughter, Peggy Pearce (Charles) of Franklin, Va.; sisters, Mable Roberts and Pauline Carter, both of Youngsville; one grandson; and two great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Pearce Cash; a sister, Gladys Dickerson of Wake Forest; brothers, Bryant and Howard Cash of Wake Forest and Weldon Cash of Raleigh.
