ETHEL R. LEWTER
RALEIGH - Ethel Roberts Lewter, 94, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006 at Blue Ridge Health Care Center in Raleigh.

A service celebrating her life and homegoing will be held today (Saturday, Nov. 11) at 12 noon in the Apex Funeral Home chapel, 550 W. Williams St. (Hwy. 55) in Apex. Burial will be in Green Level Baptist Church cemetery, Cary. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service at Apex Funeral Home on Saturday.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger H. Lewter Sr. and a daughter, Mildred L. Ball.

Surviving: a daughter, Sara L. Upchurch (William Sr.) of Franklinton; a son, Roger H. Lewter Jr. (Peggy) of Apex; sister, Gertie R. Sears of Apex; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
