WLLIAM E. EDWARDS SR.
GOLDSBORO - William Enos Edwards, Sr., 76, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3  p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home in Goldsboro, with Pastor Eugene Hartley officiating. Interment will follow in Princeton Cemetery.

He was born in Johnston County to the late Robert Edwards and Gertrude Toler Edwards.  He was a retired minister for the Church of God of Prophecy and was currently serving as pastor at the Church of God of Prophecy in Washington, NC.  

Surviving: his wife, Cora Hollowell Edwards; daughters, Shera Rowe, Phyllis Edwards, both of Goldsboro, and Debbie Barker of Franklinton; son, William E. “Bill” Edwards Jr. of Henderson; sister, Linda Capps of Goldsboro; brother, Wayne Edwards of Warren Robbins, Ga.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several aunts.
