LUCY P. JEFFREYS
YOUNGSVILLE - Lucy P. Jeffreys, 90, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006 at Hillside Nursing Center in Wake Forest. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Union Grove Baptist Church in Youngsville. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She was born to the late Squire Powell and Dillie Jane Perry of Franklin County, and was married to the late Matthew William Jeffreys.

Surviving: three daughters, Joyce A. Harris of the home, the Rev. Julia J. Pointejour of Alexandria, Va., and Agnes J. Tunstall of Youngsville; sons, John H. Jeffreys of Athens, Ga., and Wilbert P. Jeffreys of Franklinton; 31 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
