JASPER PERGERSON JR.
YOUNGSVILLE - Jasper J. Pergerson Jr., 66, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011 at his home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 11, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bryan Greene and Mr. Kay Hill officiating. Burial followed in the Wake Crossroads Baptist Church cemetery.

He was born in Franklin County, the son of the late Ida and Jasper J. Pergerson Sr. He was a retired machinist and worked for 25 years at Westinghouse and retired from BMI South in 1999.

Surviving: wife, Emma Height Pergerson; sons, Greg Pergerson (Michelle) and Mark Pergerson (Nichola), all of Youngsville, and Kenny Pergerson (Teresa) and Stuart Pergerson (Stephanie), all of Wake Forest; sisters, Lily Ball of Franklinton, Ruby “Tiny” Perry and Brenda Perry of Youngsville, and Dora Johnson of Wake Forest; brother, Robert Pergerson of Youngsville; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marie Ross, Joyce Manus and Betty Lou Pearce.
