ZEBULON—Jean Elizabeth Lynch Corbett, 84, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Corinth Baptist Church, with visitation from 2:30-4 p.m. prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Johnston County, the daughter of the late William and Erdine Jeffreys Lynch. She was retired from Square D.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Malone Corbett.
Surviving: sons, Ted R. Corbett, Fred C. Corbett (Shirley), Larry G. Corbett (Bertie), D. David Corbett, all of Zebulon, and Jerry W. Corbett (Sally) of Petersburg, Va.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glenn Allen, Va. 23060.
