JAMES N. O’NEAL
ZEBULON - James Nelson O’Neal, 87, died Monday, Oct.. 17, 2011 at Wake Med. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Corinth Baptist Church, 13450 NC Highway 96, Zebulon, with the Rev. Will Abernethy and the Rev. Glen Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Baptist Church cemetery.

He was born in Johnston County to the late Otha O’Neal and Mable Adcock O’Neal. He was a bus driver with Greyhound Bus Lines for many years.

Surviving: wife, Rosa Lee O’Neal; son, Danny O’Neal (Carol) of Zebulon; daughters, Sandra Temple (Terry) of Wendell, Susie Peoples (Mike) of Zebulon; sisters, Anne Woodard (Herbert) of Raleigh and Margie Carter of Zebulon; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Alfred and Tip O’Neal.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.

Arrangements are by L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.
