SPRING HOPE - James Furman Wright Sr., age 48, a resident of 69 Lake Rd., Henderson and 970 Duke Memorial Rd., Spring Hope, died Tuesday October 18, 2011 at his home in Spring Hope. Born on August 18, 1963 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Kenneth L. Williamson Sr. and April Lee Wright.

James was a wonderful and loving father who enjoyed riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was employed at Don’s Body Shop in Rocky Mount for 17 years and attended South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 PM in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon. Burial followed in the Williamson Family Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Amy Thomas Wright; one daughter, Heather Wright of Spring Hope; one son, James Furman “Jay” Wright Jr. of Spring Hope; two stepsons, Seth Davidson and Ben Davidson and wife Lindsey of Henderson; and one granddaughter, Morgan Davidson; four sisters, Margie Williamson, June Williamson, Angie Hendrick and Mary Patton, all of Henderson; and one brother, Kenneth Williamson Jr. of Henderson.

The family received friends Thursday night from 7:00 to 8:30 at J.M White Funeral Home. At other times they were at the home at 69 Lake Rd.

Serving as Pallbearers are Chuck Murray, Fred Murray, Jeremy Neal, Ben Davidson, Seth Davidson, Courtlon Thomas, Brad Hendricks, and James Knight.

Arrangements are by the J. M. White Funeral Home, Henderson.
