KATHLEEN B. NIPPER
RALEIGH - Kathleen Brannan Nipper, 92, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011 at Universal Health Care of North Raleigh. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Soapstone United Methodist Church, Raleigh. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She was born in Wake County to William T. Brannan and Victoria Pearce Brannan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest M. Nipper, and her siblings.

Surviving: sons, Curtis Nipper (Jean) of Franklinton, Ted Nipper (Ann) of Raleigh; daughters, Peggy Kirks (Edward) of Cary and Kathy Norris of Raleigh; six grandchildren; one step-grandson; 14 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Soapstone United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 12837 Norwood Road, Raleigh, NC 27613, or a charity of your choice.
