RAMONA LIDE ROBERTS
FRANKLINTON - Ramona Lide Roberts, 79, of Franklinton died January 5, 2012 following a long illness. A memorial service was held at Lancaster Funeral Home Monday, January 9, 2012 at 2:00 in Louisburg, with the Rev Jonathan Chandler presiding.

Roberts is survived by four children, Susan Levitz of Raleigh, Del Powers of Louisburg, Iris Hindle of Franklinton and Allison Roberts of Castalia;  grandchildren, Shane Stevens of Angier, Jennifer Loyd and Lisa Powers of Louisburg, Beth, Andrew, Lauren and Bradley Roberts of Castalia;  great-grandchildren, Kenan Epps, Colton Loyd and Quinton Stevens. 

Roberts was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend.  She was a member of Union View Baptist Church in Franklinton.  She was dedicated to the nursing home ministry for the last ten years. 

In  lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Union View Baptist Church Food Pantry, P.O. Box 505, Franklinton, NC  27525 or the Franklin County Humane Society, P.O. Box 338, Youngsville, NC  27596.
