LOUISBURG – Laura Parrish McGregor, 80, died Sunday morning, Jan. 15, 2012. A graveside memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at Middle Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Wake County.

She was a daughter of the late James Walter and Manda Lee Medlin Parrish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McGregor, and brother, Charles Parrish.

Surviving: daughters, Donna (Stephen) Duncan; Vickie (John) May, Linda Marcom; sons, Larry (Karen) Gay, Buddy (Kim) Gay; sisters Peggy Coe and Ann (Ed) Goodwin; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of Eastern NC, 3737 Glenwood Ave., Ste. 100, Raleigh, NC 27612.
