JEAN M. PIPKIN
BUNN - Jean Manning Pipkin, 66, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at her home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 1 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Tondee officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery in Spring Hope.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Jay Pipkin; her brothers, Johnny and Robert Manning; and her sister, Etta Mae Morgan. 

Surviving: daughters, Denise Murphy (Mark) of Raleigh, Cynthia Verdon (Robert) of Apex; sisters, Florine Davis of Tarboro, Lucille Miles of Roanoke Rapids, Trudy Glover of Rocky Mount, Shirley Finch (Walter) of Bunn; brothers, Earl Manning (Myrtle) of Rocky Mount, Willis Manning (Doreen) of Tarboro; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon at Calvary Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Christian School, 394 Ferrells Bridge Road, Louisburg, NC 27549. 

Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg.  Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
