April 9, 1957 – January 15, 2012
LOUISBURG – Cynthia Moss Jones, 54, of Louisburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday evening, January 15, 2012.

Cindy, a native of Franklin County, was preceded in death by her father, Martin Wade Moss of Nash County.

She is survived by her daughter, April J. DeCarlo of Florida.; son, Greg Jones of Texas; mother, Barbara A. Harrelson of Louisburg; brothers, Tony Moss of Raleigh, Marty (Cathy) Moss of White Level, and Barry Moss of Florida.; grandchildren, Sam and Veda DeCarlo; her devoted aunts, Jean Bunn of Florida and Kay Bottoms of Rocky Mount; and her many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Cindy was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church. Cindy devoted her life working with youth and domestic violence. She was scheduled to graduate from VGCC in May with a degree in Web Technology.

A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday at Maple Springs Baptist Church, Hwy. 56 East, Louisburg, with the Rev. Jason Havens officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Safe Space of Louisburg in memory of Cindy or Love Gifts to the family.
